Why this exists
An announcement and a completed transaction read almost identically in a headline. What separates them is usually a question nobody has answered yet: what the terms were, who actually holds the equity, whether the financing closed, what a court will decide. Those questions get raised once when a story breaks and then disappear, which is how an announcement quietly becomes remembered as a fact.
This page keeps them. Anything restated in a later edition has been carried — the record went back to it and still had no answer — and those sort to the top.
The carried count is a floor, not a total. Questions are matched by their wording, and the brief tends to rephrase as a story develops, so the same underlying question asked three different ways counts as three. Treat a high carry count as a strong signal and a count of one as no signal either way.
