A long-term savings plan for people eligible for the Disability Tax Credit. The government adds matching grants and bonds of up to $4,500 per year. An RDSP is one of the most powerful savings tools in Canada for eligible individuals — the government contributions can be several times your own.

A non-refundable tax credit for people with a severe and prolonged impairment. Qualifying for the DTC also unlocks other programs, including the RDSP. A medical practitioner must complete the T2201 form to certify eligibility.
